But no Manuel!!1

Yes, but we've known about that for a while, that wasn't going to change.

Looks like I'm probably getting the base, maybe the track pack. It's dumb that you need the convenience package for cruise since this car is fly by wire and literally everything needed to control it is handled by the ECU.

Poor Manuel...

I know. Just still makes me sad.

Yes, Manuel gets left out quite often these days. I've heard he's even on anti-depressants.

As Racescort666 mentioned why the hell is cruise control not standard or alarm for that matter? Regardless while high, the price seems appropriate if not less than what I would've guessed.

Base MSRP Otherwise known as AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh, you're serious. That's so cute.
* pats customer on the head and points him toward the nearest FR-S dealer* There you go. That seems more your speed. Off you go and good luck, sport!

What color and wheels are you looking at (if you are indeed truly getting one!)?

Rosso Alfa and I'd like to get the circle spokes (18"/19") if the option isn't too expensive.

I applaud your taste, the circle spokes are a great design that helps to accentuate the unique curves of the car.

I wonder how much lighter the manual #box from the Giulietta QV is than the DCT in the 4C. I've been trying to work it out for a while now, but I don't think I've got enough info.
I need the weight of the cast-iron block 1750 TBi engine in the Giulietta QV and the weight of the alloy block 1750 TBi in the 4C.
That way, I can compare the weight of the Giulietta Cloverleaf (iron-block) and the Giulietta QV (alloy-block) and the difference should be the gearbox.

Got it. The TCT 'box weighs 15kg (33lbs) more than the manual. Not a great deal, but something that could be saved if I bought one and modified it.

Now if I can *find* one for $55K at whereever they are planning to sell them.
Watch for the inevitable markup...

the TCT box weighs 30 pounds more, but factor in the weight from the heavier pedal assembly and the shift linkage for el manuel and I think it's a wash.

The list of dealers has been published. There's one ten minutes from where I live.

I'm not sure the difference in the pedal mechanisms and linkages would be that much more. Perhaps 3-5kg over the DCT setup, if that.
Actually, what I really want to know is the weight of either the iron-block or alloy-block TBi engine for my engines spreadsheet. That way, with a rough bead on the weight of the gearbox, I could work out the other :)
